The Greatest Five Dream Cars Of All Time

Cars are fast becoming a necessity instead of a comfort, and with the rising prices it is necessary that one should look at various aspects before they decide to buy a car. While there are several brands and models that are available today, there are very few cars that have caught my eye in these past years. Here is a list of my top five favorite cars.

No other car speaks of masculinity and attitude than the Jeep. Some might consider the jeep to be a bit expensive to maintain, but all is forgiven due to the strength and quality drive that it offers while on the road. The Jeep can be used for off road as well as on road purposes. Whether you term it as your best friend, or the original 4×4 or the SUV that started it all, the Jeep is known for being a daunting force on the road. Over time there have been several modifications and enhancements of the Jeep, but the original barebacked Jeep is still my favorite. The usability and terrain taming prowess of the Jeep can be imagined by the fact that several countries use the Jeep as an army traveling vehicle. The Jeep is also used by civilians and as a general purpose vehicle. It is also seen used by many businesses, organizations and companies for their transport requirements.

The Jeep is the most wanted and available vehicle at a rural area car lease market, because of the durability and fuel economy, it is one of the most easily suggested cars for leasing.

One look at the design of the Chevrolet Camaro and men will be sold for this one. The design is something unique, and would definitely remind the men of the fantastic cars that they played with when they were young. Available in hard roof and convertible version, I do not think many would want to take anything away from this monster of a design. The Camaro got the look right in the first generation, but the fifth generation Chevy Camaro can be considered manna from heaven from those looking for muscle cars. The Camaro is an interesting car for vehicle leasing, because it is used for several professional sports. If you are looking for your first car, you should give a good, hard look to the Chevrolet Spark. This small car has a fuel efficiency that makes it the budget buyer’s favorite – and in many countries it is marketed as the car for youngsters, it has all the bells and whistles that would cater to this market. This car is a simple to use and easy to drive car. Most people new to cars and driving should elect this car for lease when they are at the driving school – it would make their driving life much easier.

City is a brand name that has remained with Honda since the past two decades. They had retired the brand name a few years ago, but revived it with a four door hatchback sedan. The Honda City is still the chosen car for lease by professionals and the corporate world, and is considered to be a good buy for professionals who would routinely travel between city and rural areas.

When it comes to smart small cars, the Chevy Spark and the Nissan March first come to mind. The March is considered to be one of the most user friendly and easy to use car for people who are new to cars, and people who are veteran car owners vouch for the durability of the car.

Car lease is made easy with Leasing Options who specialise in car for lease options.

Companies Can Work More Efficiently by Using Accurate GPS Vehicle Tracking

Copyright © 2010 Alison Withers

Tracking vehicles using the latest satellite technology is as useful for protecting vehicles from theft as the CCTV we now take for granted on our high streets is for combating crime.

Global Positioning System (GPS) technology is the secret and it works by using satellites in space to track a sugnal from a GPS tracking device installed in the vehicle.

It can be linked to a mobile phone or to a computer and allows anyone who wishes to check the vehicle’s location and its speed from signals sent back from the unit at regular intervals that can be set to as little as a minute apart.

While signals can be interrupted if the vehicle enters an underpass any loss of signal for an exceptional length of time would immediately sound an alert that something was wrong.

Companies using GPS on their vehicles can benefit in many ways that keep costs down, ensure employees are doing their jobs properly and use their vehicles efficiently. It makes calculating the time each job should take more precise and that then helps a company to become more efficient.

A taxi firm is one example of the sorts of companies that would find GPS useful to monitor the time drivers take to reach a booking and deliver the customer to their destination. Delivery companies, too, would benefit for similar reasons, especially when drivers are sent out with an itinerary to complete and controllers have some idea how long each should take.

Theft of vehicles can be a problem, especially theft of containers and lorries and tracking a vehicle would alert controllers if it did not reach its destination. It would also record the loaction of the lorry once it has left its route, which makes it easier for the police to search for stolen goods. In the case of robbery GPS makes it possible to pinpoint the location of the robbery of an armoured truck.

Lorries are not the only vehicles that can be vulnerable to theft. Stealing luxury cares, often for shipping abroad, is a lucrative market. The GPS can be set to move within a defined area so that if it then moves outside that area it will be obvious something is wrong. Owners of expensive cars can install a tracker, and “activate” it in case of theft so that the owner can find out where it is.

The activation mechanism can also be useful for controlling fleet movement and ensuring drivers stick to their routes.

There are other, less obvious, benefits from using vehicle tracking. It can also help to improve driver behaviour and enbcourage them to drive in a way that controls their speed at the rate that is most economical on fuel.

Personal security may also benefit if a driver has to go somewhere alone outside daylight hours and their vehicle is tracked to its destination. It would be useful to people like care workers, nurses and doctors who are often called to remote places at night when someone is taken ill.

While many of us might be irritated by the way every moment of our lives now seems to be watched, perhaps controlled and there seems to be little privacy, there may be times when we are glad of the new technology and safety provided by GPS.

Vehicle tracking using GPS satellite tracking technology is a useful tool against theft but it can also help improve driver behaviour and efficient fuel use to enable companies to control their costs, says Ali Withers.

Driving Economically: Checklist

Driving economically is something that’s quite important to a lot of us. When embarking on a long drive, the savings on fuel can be quite substantial if you consider ways in which your drive can be more economical. Staying at a sensible speed, not changing gears too often and many other factors will help. But they have to be appropriate for the drive you are doing. If you are driving around town, then sticking to 70mph may not be too advisable, so you have to alter the ways in which you can cut down on fuel costs. This article goes through a useful checklist of things you can think about and how you can save money on fuel when you’re driving.

Weight

Saving weight can make quite a big difference to your fuel consumption, especially over long journeys. Cutting down on carrying unnecessarily heavy items is a great way to save some weight. Carrying extra passengers will add weight to your vehicle, but the overall saving between you will be significant. It’s also much greener to lift share as the emmisions per head are significantly reduced.

Speed

Driving too fast is a sure fire way to increase your spend on fuel costs. There are certain limits that you should try to keep to, obviously depending on what road you are driving on. If you are on the motorway, then sticking to 70mph will save you a considerable amount of money on fuel costs. You’d be amazed at how much more fuel you use when driving at 80mph, that small 10mph makes a pretty hefty difference.

Cruising

Whether you are driving on the motorway, or nipping around town, constantly changing your speed will have a negative impact on your fuel consumption. Although this is difficult to overcome in town, and sometimes impossible, try to keep as steady a speed as possible and not over- use the brakes and the gears. On the motorway this becomes a much easier target. Sticking to the same speed is quite achievable and you could make the most of your cruise control here if you are lucky enough to have it installed in your vehicle.

The Right Car

When buying a car, choosing the right one for the job will perhaps be the best way you can prepare for economical driving. Try to think about what journey’s you will be making, and make your decision based on that. If town driving is likely to be your style, picking a small car with a small engine will save you huge amounts of fuel. However, if you are likely to be racking up the motorway miles then try to go for a car with a larger engine. Hopefully these tips will make sense to you and help you save money at the pump!

Extend The Life Of Your Imported Car with Servicing At A Foreign Auto Repair Shop

Just like you wouldn’t take your friend to the podiatrist if she had a stomach ache, you probably don’t want to take your European car – no matter if it’s one of the high end luxury models or one of the more practical makes – to just any local auto repair shop. Whether you just need routine upkeep and scheduled maintenance, or your car is in need of minor to major repairs; in order to extend the life of your car and make sure you get the correct parts, you should always take it to the mechanics who know it best.

While automobile engines, in general, share many of the same basic principles and have quite a few similarities across all makes and models, there are some real and specific differences between the Imports and cars that were made in the US. This makes sense, considering how different driving habits and conditions are between the two continents. The differences are quite evident when comparing European and American cars. In general, American cars are much bigger than those built in Europe. Automobiles across the pond are designed to handle small and windy roads and rainy weather conditions whereas, in the US, cars are built to handle straighter roads and longer, less extreme inclines. Large pick-up trucks, for instance, are so common in the US and are a genuine rarity in Europe because they simply aren’t practical there. And since gasoline is so much more expensive over there than here, fuel economy is a top priority.

German cars especially seem to benefit from specialized service, due to the fact that many of their parts, designs, and components are rather advanced and unique and require a certain level of training and experience to be properly cared for. While the same can probably be said of all makes and models to some extent, the likelihood of Joe’s Garage down the street being able to run proper diagnostics and have the correct parts and tools to repair your German import is probably not something you would want to gamble on.

The above is especially true for Audis, as these great cars are not seen quite as often in the US as some of the other German makes, such as Volkswagen and Mercedes. For that reason it is especially important that owners find an Audi service shop that they can trust, and who knows this brand of car inside and out, for all repairs both major and minor.

If you are in search of auto repair shops in Denver, internet marketing specialist Stephen Daniels highly recommends Sixth Avenue Auto, which specializes in Audi and Volkswagen but can service any make and model. All work at this trustworthy neighborhood shop is performed by ASE-certified technicians.

The Best Automotive Spray Booths Ever Made

Most of you are aware of the different Automotive Spray Booths that car companies use in painting their cars. As more and more companies produce cars, the exterior is considered as important as the interior. Since spray booths are an important asset in the automotive industry, car companies go to great lengths to ensure that they only have the best.

Spray booths are rooms that let you spray paint in a controlled environment. These include the right temperature, humidity, airflow and quality of paint to be used. The ventilation fans and burners should be properly installed as well to prevent any mishaps from happening.

If these conditions are not met, it may cause some problems and ruin the quality of the paint job for the car. A good spray booth doesn’t leave bubbles on the surface of any vehicle that they will paint. The paint job should be smooth and the finishing should be of high quality as well.

There are many companies that produce Automotive Spray Booths and sell them globally. These spray booths are not only used for cars but for other vehicles as well. Choosing the right company to purchase this equipment can be very hard, especially if you decided to get one for yourself. Some companies also cater custom made automotive spray booths. These booths are made to suit the client’s needs and offer a more flexible approach to any kind of project proposals. You can’t just ask any company to make these booths for you. If these booths are not properly installed then it will only lead to frustration and a good way to waste your time and money.

If you plan on buying automotive spray booths for your business or personal use, then it is best to make a little research or ask for a few recommendations. Not all spray booths are created the same, each company has their own style and the materials they use in building their spray booths also differ. The best insurance that you can get if you’re planning on purchasing a spray booth is their warranty.

Since these things are outside your area of expertise, you won’t be able to troubleshoot it if something goes wrong. Proper maintenance might prevent problems from arising but looking for a company that offers good warranty is a very good insurance.

Lastly, you should also consider the location on which these spray booths will be installed. If you plan to build this on a residential area then you should try to be more considerate and build it as far away from people’ homes as possible. This way, you will avoid any complaints that your neighbors might say if they smell something that doesn’t make them comfortable.

You can make your business a huge success with our automotive spray booths. We carry a full line of car paint booths along with paint booths for trucks, which are also big enough for RVs and even boats. Take your business to the next level with a great spray booth created for your specific needs.
