AMSOIL is introducing its latest line of synthetic motor oils. AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are specially formulated for the longer oil change intervals recommended by vehicle manufacturers today. Available in three viscosities, this advanced synthetic technology resists chemical breakdown for maximum wear protection (and peace of mind) well beyond the traditional 3,000-mile oil change interval.

Original Equipment

AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils help provide better wear control, high- and low-temperature protection and increased fuel economy compared to conventional oils. The oil drain interval recommendations for many of today’s vehicles extend well beyond the traditional 3,000-mile interval, some up to 12,000 miles with electronic oil monitoring systems. AMSOIL OE Oils provide excellent protection and performance for the entire length of the original equipment manufacturer’s recommended drain interval.

AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced the world’s first API-qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics®, to do the best job protecting your engine.

Improve Fuel Economy
Formulated with friction modifiers, AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are fuel-efficient oils that reduce friction-related energy loss. They provide better fuel economy compared to conventional, non-fuel-efficient motor oils.

Maintain Low Emissions
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are friendly toward modern emissions control systems, promoting proper operation of catalytic converters for optimum service life and low exhaust emissions.

Protect in All Temperatures
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are multi-viscosity formulations. They resist the effects of thermal breakdown, including evaporation and viscosity loss, while remaining fluid in cold temperatures for easier cold starts and fast start-up circulation.

Keep Engines Clean
Fortified with high levels of detergent and dispersant additives, AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are engineered to resist sludge and carbon deposits better than conventional oils. They promote clean operation for longer-lasting, better-running engines.

Bid Appropriate
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils fulfill the requirements of most public and private purchasing bids. They are cost-effective, making them ideal where synthetic motor oil is specified.

APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are excellent for use in all types of gasoline-fueled vehicles. They are recommended for all domestic and foreign vehicles requiring any of the listed performance specifications:

5W-20 (OEM)

API SN, SM…
ILSAC GF-5, GF-4…
GM 6094M
Ford WSS-M2C930-A
Chrysler MS-6395N

COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are compatible with conventional and other synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with
AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils.

SERVICE LIFE
In gasoline-fueled vehicles, AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oils are recommended for the intervals stated by the vehicle manufacturer or indicated by the oil life monitoring system. Change oil filter at every oil change.

More New Products Headed to Showcase at SEMA

Free Amsoil Catalog

As mentioned in a previous entry, AMSOIL is gearing up for the 2010 SEMA show armed with several new products for display in the New Product Showcase (NPS). The NPS features new products introduced throughout the year and selects winners for the ‘Best of’ award in various categories. An added benefit, however, is having this platform to showcase the progress AMSOIL makes each year with every new product development. Below are the three additional submissions into this years’ New Product Showcase. Check back for updates on the 2010 SEMA show here in the first week of November.
AMSOIL Engine & Transmission Flush
Introduced in April 2010, AMSOIL Engine & Transmission Flush helps restore fuel economy and increase operating efficiency in gasoline & diesel engines and in automatic transmissions. It safely cleans sludge and build-up, thereby promoting lower operating temperatures and reduced oil consumption. The new product is potent enough to work in just one treatment, yet safe enough to use at every oil change. AMSOIL Engine & Transmission Flush is easily disposable with waste oil and compatible with both conventional and synthetic lubricants.
AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid
Many of today’s vehicle manufacturers are now calling for a low-viscosity transmission fluid, and AMSOIL answered the call in 2010. Formulated with friction modifier additives, AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient ATF provides excellent friction durability. It is fully-fortified with anti-wear/extreme pressure agents, giving drivers peace of mind for up to 100,000 miles in normal service or 50,000 miles in severe service. It provides outstanding performance and protection, even in severe operating conditions.
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil is recommended for early-model air-cooled V-Twin engines where a 60-weight motor oil is specified. SAE 60 motor oils are commonly used in Harley-Davidson® Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead and big-bore motorcycles. The result of extensive research, AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil was introduced to the masses in July 2010. This new viscosity fills an important slot in our motorcycle oil lineup, featuring superior wear protection and heat resistance. It’s designed for those who demand the absolute best in lubrication for their motorcycles.

Once again, there is NO risk to mixing synthetic and non-synthetic oil. I’ve done it in emergencies, and it won’t hurt a thing. Also, there are now several “para-synthetic” or partially synthetic oils on the market. This is basically synthetic mixed with petroleum, so how could it be an issue?

Years ago, before Amsoil came out with Amsoil engine flush, we used to put 1 quart of synthetic in with an oil change to clean out sludge prior to changing to Amsoil. It worked great. No problems.
