AMSOIL Monster Trucks Compete in Toronto

All four AMSOIL/Sudden Impact Racing monster trucks – AMSOIL Shock Therapy, AMSOIL Excaliber, Redcat Racing Ground Pounder and Michigan Ice Monster – competed at the Skydome in Toronto, Ontario for a weekend of intense competition. After the racing competition saw a spectacular end-over-end flip from Michigan Ice Monster and a semi-final appearance from AMSOIL Shock Therapy, the freestyle competition featured great runs by Redcat Racing Ground Pounder and AMSOIL Excaliber before AMSOIL Shock Therapy hit the track and quickly took the lead with a dizzying set of donuts, massive air, huge cross threads and a few slap wheelies. The trucks impressed the crowd once again on the second night, with both Redcat Racing Ground Pounder and AMSOIL Shock Therapy taking early freestyle leads before each suffered broken spindles.

AMSOIL Monster Trucks Impress in Texas

The AMSOIL Excaliber monster truck and AMSOIL-sponsored Cult Energy Activator monster truck recently put together a successful show in Austin, Texas, with Cult Energy Activator driver Mike Barnes performing a 90-degree vertical, picture-perfect sky wheelie that thrilled the fans and earned the wheelie contest victory. Barnes and Cult Energy Activator proceeded to make it to the racing finals before losing a close run. After cutting a tire in the wheelie contest, Excaliber driver Chris Ryan borrowed a tire from Cult Energy Activator and took second in the freestyle competition.

Meanwhile, the AMSOIL Shock Therapy monster truck and AMSOIL-sponsored Redcat Racing Ground Pounder monster truck competed in Longview, Texas, with Jon Zimmer driving Shock Therapy to the racing victory against the legendary Bigfoot monster truck and following it up with an impressive freestyle victory.

AMSOIL Monster Trucks Take Victories in Monroe and Rossburg

The AMSOIL Shock Therapy and Excaliber monster trucks recently competed in Monroe, Mich., where Chris Ryan drove Excaliber to the racing final, and Jon Zimmer and Shock Therapy took a big freestyle victory with big air, two-wheel saves and plenty of momentum. In Rossburg, Ohio, Zimmer drove Shock Therapy to the wheelie contest victory before taking the wheel of Excaliber for another freestyle victory with his trademark huge air, great momentum and high-speed donuts.
